Sufi festivals in Delhi, Jammu, Rajasthan in February

NEW DELHI: Even as the sixth World Sufi Spirit Festival (WSSF) is being held from 22 February in Rajasthan, a three-day Sufi festival has commenced in Delhi. Organized by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the 3rd International Sufi Festival features singers and dancers from six countries. Those participating are Spain, Russia, Iran, Tunisia, Azerbaijan and India.

Mobile data traffic to grow 13 fold by 2017: report

MUMBAI: With the total number of mobile internet connections rapidly increasing, mobile data traffic is forecasted to grow 13 fold or 66 per cent CAGR by 2017, according to the Cisco Visual Networking Index Global Mobile Data Traffic Forecast for 2012- 2017 report.

Blackberry aims to be leader in mobile computing

MUMBAI: Trying to reclaim its spot amongst the leaders in the global mobile market, RIM recently made several announcements including the launch of its much awaited Z10 smartphone, and changing its name to BlackBerry. The company now aims to see itself as the leader in mobile computing through its various innovations lined up for release. Blackberry chief executive Thorsten Heins stated that the company is aiming to reclaim its spot as an innovator in a world where smartphones already have the processing power to replace tablets and laptops.

Justin Bieber becomes youngest artist with five chart topping albums

MUMBAI: After earning widespread popularity and numerous awards for his music, teen pop sensation Justin Bieber has now earned the title of becoming the youngest artiste to have released five chart topping albums in US. He has attained the title as his latest album ‘Believe Acoustic’ debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart on Wednesday.
