Rahman-Ashutosh Gowariker promise another musical stunner with Mohenjo Daro

MUMBAI: 'Mohenjo Daro', an upcoming film based on historical events during the Indus Valley Civilisation, has had its share of attention, months before months its release. Legendary composer A R Rahman, who has scored the music to most of Ashutosh Gowariker's films, has composed for Mohenjo Daro as well.

The motion poster which released on 7 June 2016, gives a glimpse of Rahman's yet another magical creation. Although the film remains in the backdrop that will take you back in time, the musical flash sounds undoubted- ahead of its time.

In the 'less than a minute video', the versatile musician puts listeners in complete awe of his composition. The vocals, in the end, add to the wonder.

Rahman's past collaboration with Ashutosh Gowariker in the films- 'Lagaan', 'Swades' and 'Jodha Akbar' indicate that 'Mohenjo Daro's entire soundtrack would be worth a million listens, over and over.

The movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles and will release on 12 August 2016.
