Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru’s I love NY is finally set to hit theatres with action hero Sunny Deol and bubbly Tanu Kangna Ranaut. It will be much awaited movie for the fans of Deol who have missed him after his Yamla Pagla Deewana. This romantic comedy has four original tracks and five re-mixes of the original track.

Tochi Raina has rendered the track 'Gud Naal Ishq Mitha’ which is the blend of the original track ‘Gur Naal Ishq Mitha’ and with some addition in those lyrics by lyricist Mayur Puri. It is not one of the good remixes but after hearing the track constantly you kind of enjoy it because of the way Raina has rendered it. It’s yet another remake of the traditional folk track. Punjabi tracks are incomplete without dhols. This Bhangra track suits Punjab ka Putta Sunny Deol so well along with his accomplices’ alcohol bottle in the trailer of the film where the track is played.

Pritam has given music to the melodic track ‘Aao Na’. The soothing track is rendered by the duo Sonu Nigam and Tulsi Kumar and is an average romantic track. The lyrics are penned by Sayeed Quadari. The lyrics are uninteresting, but the tabla used in the track is appealing and has worked strongly in favour of its music.

For the next track 'Judaai', Falak Shabir has worn multiple caps-singer, musician and lyricist. The melodic touch along with the drums is the beauty of the track and strength of the tracks is the lyrics. It is an emotional track that is sung out to describe the ordeal of the lover. Lovely track by Shabir be it lyrically, musically or vocally.

Shaan and Tulsi Kumar duet is magically in ‘Halki Halki’. Pritam have given an energetic music still keeping it smooth unlike the present day energetic tracks. Puri had penned the lyrics. Shaan fans will enjoy this track.

Unplugged version of ‘Judaai’ with that mild play of flute and piano is not to be missed.  In this track, you understand the strength on Shabir’s vocals. Remix version of ‘Judaai’ is done by DJ A-Myth.

DJ Chetas and NYK have increased the pace of the track in the remix of ‘Aao Na’. DJ A-Myth spins 'Gud Naal Ishq Mitha’ also and it is completely a dance number. ‘Aaja Meri Jaan’ has been added in the remix list and this is remixed by Dj Shiv. The last remixed track is ‘Halki Halki’ by Kiran Kamath who gives the song a new face.

Overall, the music album is average but the remix version will hit the dance floors and will stay there for a while.
