Born into a family of musicians, Shivani Pramod Marulkar is a young artiste with promise. She received her initial training from grandfather Rajabhau Deo, an accomplished musician who had evolved the �Samagra Gayaki', an aesthetic synthesis of the Gwalior, Kirana and Jaipur gharanas. Since the last ten years, she is under the tutelage of her mother, Alaka Deo Marulkar. Shivani, a recipient of a senior talent scholarship from the Department of Culture, Ministry of Human Resources, has performed at various music concerts throughout the country, such as the Kesarbai Kerkar Sangeet Mahotsav, Panaji; Gaanwardhan, Pune; the Dadar Matunga Cultural Centre, Mumbai and Shivaji University, Kolhapur. She has sung with her mother on several occasions and also in the projects conceptualized by her.

Ramakant Gaikwad, 19, received initial tutoring from his parents, Suryakant and Sangita Gaikwad. He has participated in several competitions, including the Hindustani vocal music competition, organized by Vedic Heritage and the Pt. Jasraj Foundation, New York, in which he won the first prize. He has been suitably recognized at state-level contests too and been awarded various music scholarships.
