Taylor Swift announces 'Red' tour dates

MUMBAI: After promoting her latest album through numerous appearances on talk shows and commercials, American country-pop singer Taylor Swift has finally announced the dates of promotional tour for her album ‘Red’.

‘America’s Sweetheart’ Swift will commence the tour next year from 13 March and will conclude on 21 September. The tour is schedule to take place across America including Nebraska, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Indianapolis, Kentucky, Detroit Michigan, Texas, Washington D.C., San Antonio, Dallas, Nashville, California, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and more.

Swift is then expected to visit a grand total of 29 states and 45 cities for an estimated 58 tours.

In an issued statement, Swift said, “I didn’t think I could be any more excited about my Red album, but then I start thinking about how I’m going to put the new show together for The RED Tour. I have so many ideas about how to really bring this music to life, and I can’t wait to share the new show with all my fans!”

Swift revealed the dates of her promotional tour on national television at "20/20 All Access Nashville" show. More dates and cities may be added on a later date, whereas the tickets for the concerts will be available from 15 November 2012.

Expectations from singer’s forthcoming tour is quiet high as last year, Swift was successful in surprising aficionados with a sold out ‘Speak Now’ tour across the United States.
