MUMBAI: Radio sector's total reach has gone down to 161.45 million in the Q2 survey of the IRS for the year 2011.

As per the Q2 data, radio sector's total reach has fallen by three per cent CAGR. This is however, less than a negative growth of 8.3 per cent which the sector had witnessed in the Q1 survey.

Radio sector is finally looking up with the definitive buzz of phase III.

Meanwhile, the sectors like C&S and Internet have seen double digit growth while TV sector has also witnessed reasonable increase, suggests the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) Q2 report released by Media Research Users Council (MRUC) and Hansa Research.
