Guns N' Roses announce UK tour
MUMBAI: Following their induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, legendary rock band Guns N' Roses have announced a UK tour across seven cities in May 2012.
Commencing from 19 May in Nottingham the band will perform in Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester, culminating the tour on 31 May at London’s O2 Arena.
Guns N' Roses comprises of singer Axl Rose, lead guitarists Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal and DJ Ashba, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, bassist Tommy Stinson, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer.
Guns N' Roses last performed together in the UK in 2010. Their last album ‘Chinese Democracy’ released in 2008 had made it to number two in the UK album chart. The band is said to be currently working on a new project.
Former members of the band include Slash, Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.
