MUMBAI: Pop Bhangra singer Daler Mehndi has recently crooned the theme song for India's first-ever Formula One Grand Prix.

The track �Hum Mein Raftaar, Jeete Baar Baar' is a speedy number co-sung by Leslie Lewis, Lucky Ali and KK, and will be performed live at the inaugural ceremony on 30 October.

Speaking about the theme song Mehndi said, Formula one is a big event for India, and we should be proud about the fact we are hosting it. I am also very happy with the way the theme song has come up. Music connects all and motivates masses to move together.  The song is in line with the racy event, and would pump in some energy among the spectators....

Daler Mehndi recently released his pop album �Tumba' and has also crooned the theme song for CWG and IPL Kings XI Punjab.
