MUMBAI: On the pious occasion of Kali Puja, Big FM will host Shayma Sangeet Festival from 24-27 October in Kolkata.

Srikumar Chattopadhyay, the legend of Shayma Sangeet will showcase his Bengali devotional songs and recount memorable tales of Kali Worship.

This is the first of its kind initiative in the history of radio where Shyama Sangeet will be explored in a new dimension.

Shyama Sangeet stalwarts Indrani Sen, Shampa Kundu, Manomoy Bhattacharya and the legendary Srikumar Chattopadhyay will create some new renditions under the music arrangement of Rocket Mondal. The same will be revealed on the devotional show, Shyama Naame Swaranagato with Devi.
