Boxout.fm: Boxout Wednesdays boasts of impressive line-up

MUMBAI: India’s online radio station boxout.fm’s mid-week residency, Boxout Wednesdays enters the month of July with exciting international live acts and DJs lined up. The gigs will be held at Summer House Cafe in New Delhi.

Now in its third year of operation and dubbed as the capital city’s favoured stomping grounds for alternative culture and sounds; the residency is celebrating its 118th event, to kick off the month of July on Wednesday, 3 July 2019.

Here you can expect the host of radio show, Cosmic Claps: Dreamstates, making his return for boxout.fm audiences after his unforgettable set at the second edition of Boxout Weekender. Bringing his experimental house sounds to the dance floor, alongside Trafficc and Girls Night Out, who both favour the deeper side of house and techno; also returning from their headlining sets at the Weekender.

The following week, Glasgow born and London based artist known for his unpredictable and electric stage presence Sega Bodega will be playing a heavily UK influenced live DJ set with support from the likes of Lush Lata and DJ MoCity on 10 July 2019.

On 17 July 2019, the line up includes all local, home-grown artists, with Hedrun on headliner duties and Yung, Raj hailing in from Mumbai + FatBoi x Sadboi on support.

Furthermore, on 24 July 2019, the spotlight will be on drum and bass specialists Ravana who is making his Boxout Wednesdays’ debut, alongside Watashi and Wave Diary bringing their own rendition of this old school sound with Kalé finishing the night on headline.

They will close on 31 July with a line up full of funk and disco with Stalvart John from Bangalore alongside Delhi’s local talents Rodali and Short Human on support.
