RED FM to amp up cricket fever with integrated World Cup campaign

MUMBAI: RED FM has teamed up with team India’s biggest cricket supporters club, The Bharat Army to amp up the cricket fever prior to World Cup 2019. They have launched an integrated World Cup campaign, ‘Mera Josh Mahaan’.

Speaking on the partnership, RED FM COO Nisha Narayanan said, “We are excited to partner with The Bharat Army who have been passionately following the Indian Cricket Team around the world. One thing that unifies the people of our nation beyond all diversities is the never-ending love for cricket. With this partnership, we want to give our listeners an experience of the crazy support the Indian Cricket team gets in the UK during the tournament and also create some very differentiated and engaging content for ones back in India.”

Commenting on the tie-up, Bharat Army CEO and founder Rakesh Patel said, “We are really excited to be partnering with Red FM during the World Cup and give fans in India the opportunity to join us in England for what will be a fantastic celebration of cricket. The partnership will also allow millions of Red FM listeners the opportunity to feel the emotion and atmosphere the Bharat Army brings to a major World Cup tournament when supporting India.”

As part of the campaign, 10 listeners will get to participate and stand a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to UK, to go celebrate with The Bharat Army as they cheer for team India. As the official radio partner of Bharat Army, RED FM will be co-creating excitement on-air and some digital cricketing content for its listeners. The campaign will be celebrating the spirit of cricket and seeks to connect with billions of die-hard cricket fans to cheer for team India during the World Cup 2019.
