MUMBAI: Vishal Singh, who recently resigned as National Marketing Head of Big FM, has joined global marketing firm Mindshare.
Vishal has joined Mindshare as a Principal Partner - Client Leadership."I have basically seen all the three phases of radio in India. Therefore, I went ahead for something new because I have never done media side of marketing. That's one opportunity that I could not pass up, with Mindshare being one of the largest media agencies in the country."
"It is a brilliant opportunity for me as I can seek a lot of learning and excitement from my work," he said.
Vishal has been associated with radio since the phase I of FM auctions in the country. He started with Radio Mirchi and then went on to join My FM in the second phase, followed by Big FM.
"The new team I am working with is brilliant and very energetic. I am with a hyperactive group working around me," he says of his new assignment.
Singh's profile at Big FM is yet to be filled in with a replacement, sources say.
