APJ Abdul Kalam's last interview to air on All India Radio

NEW DELHI: All India Radio is to broadcast excerpts of a recorded conversation with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam for an English feature on India's Space Mission titled Moon, Mars and Beyond--A Space Odyssey which was recorded on 16 July by AIR and was his last conversation with any media house.

AIR will broadcast this special conversation at 2.30 pm on Rajdhani and FM Rainbow Channel.

AIR will also re-run the special feature from English archive 'While the World Slept' which is a feature on events that occurred in the intervening night of 14 and 15 August 1947. The script was written by Dominic Thomas. He co-produced it with Kumud Malik.

This feature will run at 9.30pm on the Rajdhani and FM Rainbow Channel on 15 August.

These programmes will be broadcast besides the live coverage of the Independence Day Parade from the ramparts of the Red Fort.The interview was a part of a series of interviews with various space scientist with regards to the mass orbiter mission.
