Phil Collins continues his deal with Warner Music

MUMBAI: English singer-songwriter Phil Collins has inked a global catalogue deal with Warner Music Group. The new partnership will include all his old catalogues along with his latest re-mastered Deluxe Editions of all eight Phil Collin’s studio albums as well as other uniquely curated titles.

The label has plans to roll out a special campaign for the partnership. The campaign will begin with Deluxe Editions of Collins’ blockbuster 1981 solo debut ‘Face Value’, along with his acclaimed 1993 album ‘Both Sides’.

The ‘You'll Be in My Heart’ singer said, “I have had a fantastic relationship with Warner and Atlantic throughout my career and I am thrilled to be continuing that.” He further added that he is working with the label now on these new presentations and that he is very excited about it.

Warner Music Group Recorded Music, Global Catalog president Tim Fraser-Harding said, “As a longtime member of the Atlantic Records family, it is a joyous occasion to now be able to work with his unprecedented catalog on a fully global scale. We are looking forward to collaborating with Phil on some sensational new releases that will excite his longtime fans while also helping to introduce his songs to new generations of music lovers.”

Collins joined Genesis in the 70s as a drummer, but later became lead vocalist for the band. He has won numerous music awards throughout his career, including seven Grammy Awards, six Brit Awards and three American Music Awards. A Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, Collins has sold over 100 million solo albums.
