Take it or leave it, but you sure won't be able to �mind it' once you have heard it. Songs of Quick Gun Murugun are funny, whacky and have the potential to cheer up a dying man. QGM is not an album – it's a laughter bomb that will explode.

Opening with â€?The Dialogue mix', the track hits the human groove neuron (okay, that's a coined word) right from the word go. It's a super combo of unimaginable lyrics and energetic beats. The title track Murugan Superstar sung by Vishal Shekhar's discovery Raghu Dixit is fab job by the folk rock singer who is already making waves – his fans won't be disappointed at all. Mind it (Tamil Bhangra) by Mika is yet another pumping thumping number, a complete hotch potch as the title suggests.     

Remember Vijay Prakash? The saregama winner and the singer who delivered the classical track Mana mohini from the film Yuvvraaj turns composer with four songs to his credit in QMG. Prakash composes one of the best written songs on the album Kyoon Keeda Hai Aapko – the easy flowing songs can get you in splits word-by word, and yes, also add a lot more to your vocabulary, thanks to lyricist Ankur Tewari.

The track Ek tha Murugan builds an image that perhaps, there may be Mexico in Madras – the slide guitar feel (Mexican) the dim-witted south Indian accented lyrics (Madras!!) – it can't get funnier. Chat Mangni Lover is a song you can jive to when your wife is in a bad mood (take my word!). The song is decked with noisy string sections, showy piano work, of course, the time travel tune. I wonder if the writer and composers where on some humor pills when they worked on this. Kuchi Kuchi Kuchi Twist is an â€?Aoa twist kare' inspiration – at places, one can hear the singer imitating Asha Bhosle for effect. Except for the lyrics, the track Naam Mera Mango Dolly, seems forced 

Now comes the remixes, it's like, after the roller coaster ride, you straight go to bungee jumping. Go hear it. Simple.
