RAM WK 51/10: Red FM, BIG FM grow most in week of small shifts

* Red FM grew in all 4 metros, BIG FM in 3

MUMBAI: Radio City with 0.9%, AIR FM Gold with 2%, Radio One with 0.6% and BIG FM with 0.6% led in market share gains in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore respectively per Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 51 (12-18 Dec /10) across all people 12+ at all places of listening. Otherwise, in the continuing trend of relatively smaller shifts of market shares, Red FM increased its market shares in all four metros – by 0.4% in Delhi and Bangalore, and a wafer-thin 0.1% in Mumbai and Kolkata. BIG FM maintained status quo in Mumbai and registered gains in the other 3 metros (0.6% in Bangalore 0.5% in Kolkata and 0.3% in Delhi).

(1)   Mumbai: Radio Mirchi – 0.5; Radio One – 0.5; AIR FM 1 Rainbow – 0.3; Aakashvani – 0.2

(2)   Delhi: Hit FM – 0.8; AIR FM Rainbow – 0.7; Fever FM 0.6; Vividh Bharti – 0.5; Oye! – 0.4.

(3)   Kolkata: Oye! – 1; AIR FM Rainbow – 0.4; Power FM – 0.3
