Sartek signs another massive deal internationally

MUMBAI: Adding to the many firsts in his bouquet, Sartek has secured a deal with a major international music label for his next release. Delhi-based electronica musician Sartek’s upcoming single will be launched by Sony Music Entertainment, one of the biggest international labels.

One of India’s most accomplished dance music DJ producers – Sarthak Sardana aka Sartek, is also the only Indian to grace the prestigious Beatport top 100 (Electro House) multiple times with his tracks ‘Back to the future’ (#51), Dopamine (#73) and last release Don’t need love’ with continued global support from Industry stalwarts.

With Sartek playing over 100 hundred gigs throughout last year, the musician's busy 2016 continued to the studio as well. His track (Back to the Future) cracking the Beatport electro house chart and the support of Electronica biggies such as Hardwell, the Delhi-based producer's outreach steers him to a bright future on the international stage. To add to his ever-growing portfolio of achievements, Sartek also became the 1st Indian artist to be signed onto Cloud9 Music, a Netherlands based music publishing company, which is also home to the likes of Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, W&W, Dannic, Dyro amongst many others as also record labels like Armada and Revealed Records.

With is development, he makes a huge leap in terms of professional growth with the recent development. Known for his elaborate live shows, Sartek will release the Sony Music Entertainment-acquired single in January. It is too early to claim if the association with the international record label will extend beyond the upcoming single, however, for the artist, the exciting times await.
