MUMBAI: Having just successfully wrapped up a handful of headline shows across the US, Haux will bring his mesmerising live show to the UK next week as he headlines venues in both Manchester (Sound Control) and London (The Lexington) before then making his debut at The Great Escape festival in Brighton and moving onto mainland Europe to continue his headline run. Settled in the space between dreamy folk and electronic melancholy – Haux is the smoky-eyed silhouette of Woodson Black. Growing up in the Berkshires, the photographer-turned-musician found his voice while wandering the quiet woods and rural landscapes. He narrated life through film photographs, developing a pastoral aesthetic that would go on to inspire Haux.

Haux’s blissful reimagining of Daughter’s 2013 single ‘Youth’ overflows with a soft bassline and down-tempo beats, underpinning Haux’s emotive vocals. A strong example of Haux’ minimalist production style, his rendition complements of the original track.

Haux’s latest release is a testament to his effortless production style and is set to feed into the excitement already surrounding his already flourishing career.
