MUMBAI: Indian electronic duo Lost Stories who have created a niche for themselves in India are back in the news for their remix of Alan Walker's Faded, a song that has been on the popularity charts in India since its release. The duo composed of Prayag Mehta and Rishab Joshi is known for their new sound and they were approached by the label Sony Music to create a remix of the song.

"Our remix for Alan Walker is our biggest project yet. When we first heard Faded, we were really surprised by the simplicity yet the effectiveness of the song. We are glad to reinterpret this beautiful tune in our own way. We got Sajid Ali from Pakistan to do the flute. When we first saw him on Coke Studio Pakistan, we were hooked! We wrote to him on Facebook and he replied and that's how this project took off! Big ups to our manager Aayushman, Alan Walker and Sony Music India for believing in us,” says Lost Stories.

Adding to the same, Sony Music India, Head of International music, Arjun Sankalia says, “Lost Stories are extremely talented and we saw a unique opportunity to work with them on Faded. The original has topped charts in India and we’re confident people will love the Lost Stories remix as well.”

The song premiered at Tomorrow Land Unite on 23 July where it was a huge surprise for all fans and the response to the remix was huge. The song is available on all streaming websites and download platforms
