Vh1 to host Finnish rock band 'Poets Of The Fall' India tour

MUMBAI: After the success of Anoushka Shankar live in concert, Vh1 under its annual Handpicked initiative will host three-city India tour of Finnish rock band ‘Poets of the Fall’. Spanning across Bangalore, New Delhi and Pune, the tour will be held on 22, 24 and 25 August at Hard Rock Cafe.

The band will perform on popular tracks along with the songs from their fifth and latest album ‘Temple of Thought.’  Commenting on their visit to India, lead vocalist of the band Marko Saaresto said, “We’ve been to India before and were amazed to see the passion and love for music that the country presents. Our new album was launched in Finland earlier this year and was loved by music lovers and we’re confident that we will receive a similar response from India too. Eagerly looking forward to our India tour!"

Vh1 Handpicked is also running a contest giving fans an opportunity to witness the live performance of the band.

Currently in its sixth edition, Handpicked is an annual property of Vh1 India. Earlier, Handpicked has hosted concerts of well known artistes like Anoushka Shankar, DJ Yves Larock and Outlandish amongst others. The main aim of the initiative is to identify upcoming talent and promote them.
