MUMBAI: Rediffusion Y&R has bagged the Bronze Lion for its child literacy message campaign entry Vandana' done for the American India Foundation.

In the Radio category, Virgin Atlantic, South Africa campaign, created by Network BBDO, Johannesburg, won the Grand Prix.

The other three radio entries that failed to make the cut were Publicis' campaign ' Bruce Lee's Death' for Stedfast paper shredders, Bates' 'Old Man' campaign for Virgin Mobiles and DDB Mudra's Bush campaign for the Islamic Research Foundation.

The Rediffusion  advert Vandana was the only Indian entry shortlisted in the Radio category (single entries) for the Clio Awards 2009. The spot also won a silver at the Adfest 2009 in the radio category in Goa earlier this year.

The DDB Mudra advert for the Islamic Research Foundation had bagged the Crystal award at the Kaan Awards as well as the bronze Pencil at the One Show earlier this year, but failed to make its mark at Cannes.
