Motomusic gets Abhishek Bachchan on Wyclef Jean's new single

Bangalore :Hindi film star Abhishek Bachchan debuts with fellow Motorola brand
ambassador and Grammy Award-winning international musician Wyclef Jean on a
remix of his new single, Hollywood meets Bollywood from his album,
Carnival, Vol. 2: Memoirs of an Immigrant.

Composed by Jean in collaboration with Bollywood music composer Aadesh Srivastav, the song will be available exclusively on Motorola's digital music service,
Motomusic till 14 September 2008, says the company. The exercise is part of Motorola's partnership with Wyclef Jean's record label, Sony BMG, to bring mobile music to emerging markets in new ways.

Motorola plans to give access to the exclusive track for Rs 20 to consumers in India to download directly to their mobile phone via GPRS from Motomusic. The track will also be available for download to consumers' personal computers at the current rate of Rs 20 from Motorola's music portal.

Motomusic, as a combined service on web and WAP, allows consumers to
download more than 350,000 songs, ring tones, music videos and wallpapers to both their PC and mobile. It also allows discovery of songs through the 'Music ID' application on Motorola phones such as ROKR E8, ROKR U9, refresh models of ROKR E6 and ROKR Z6, RAZR2V8, SLVR L9, MOTOYUVA W230 and W270.
Music ID recognizes and identifies songs and their artists' names and then
provides a link to download the songs from the service. The recently acquired Soundbuzz library has added to the Motomusic repertoire.

"When I created Hollywood Meets Bollywood, I was hoping to bridge cultural gaps and unite people through my music, which is something I am very
passionate about," said Wyclef Jean, Motorola's Brand Ambassador and
international rocker and musician. "It was an incredible experience to work
with someone like Abhishek, who is an amazing talent and so beloved in
India."

"Working with Wyclef was a totally new experience for me," said Abhishek
Bachchan, Motorola Brand Ambassador and Bollywood Actor. "Being in the
studio and watching how he works was inspiring. The song has a great message about love and peace, but it also has a great beat that I think everyone in India is going to love."
