Mika, Manasi and Harshdeep to rock opening ceremony of WSH

MUMBAI: Mika Singh, Manasi Scott and Harshdeep Kaur will perform at the opening ceremony of the inaugural Bridgestone World Series Hockey on 29 Feb in Chandigarh.

While Punjabi rapper Mika Singh will perform on songs like ‘Tu mera hero’ (Desi Boyz) and ‘Dhinka Chika’ (Ready), Harshdeep Kaur will belt out Rahman's Rocstar songs including ‘Katiya Karoon’ and more.

Indi-pop singer Manasi Scott will perform on the song ‘Rock On’ revealing the league captains from the different teams. Apart from the singers, the event will also witness performances by bollywood stars like Neha Dhupia and Saif Ali Khan, who will also release a new song from his upcoming movie ‘Agent Vinod’.

Nimbus Sport COO Yannick Colaco said, “We have put together a star-studded opening ceremony to match the scale of any global sporting event. This is a first for Hockey in India and the grand opening will be a perfect cocktail of unmatched entertainment and top drawer sporting action. We are going to dazzle the audience in the stadium and viewers across the world with a spectacular opening ceremony.”

The event is managed by Wizcraft International who is also the franchise owners of the Delhi WSH team - the Delhi Wizards.
