MUMBAI: Meow FM has appointed Adhir Bhogte as national sales head.

Based out of Mumbai, Bhogte will assume office on 14 December and will report to India Today Group CEO Ashish Bagga.

Confirming the development to Indiantelevision.com Bhogte says, "Yes, I will be joining Meow FM as national sales head."

Prior to this, Bhogte was MTV head sales, West and South for 13 months and was also involved in the sales planning for Colors for three months.

Previously, he was associated with Radio City for four years.

Bhogte's appointment at Meow FM follows the selection of Vehrnon Ibrahim as the FM stations national programming head.

Ibrahim, who is currently serving his notice period at Radio One, will assume office on 4 January.
