Licence issue forces David Guetta to miss Mumbai

MUMBAI: Grammy award winning artiste David Guetta is all geared up for his maiden performance in India but Mumbai has once again been dropped from the venue list.  The concert scheduled to take place on 10 March in Mumbai has been shifted to Pune, due to licensing issues.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com on the venue change, Only Much Louder CEO Vijay Nair said, We've had to move Eristoff Invasion from Mumbai to Pune because of certain venue licensing issues we faced. Pune is a great city for music, so we're really looking forward to bringing David Guetta to Pune in March 2012 and hope to see a lot of people from Mumbai there as well."

With chart-topping hits like When love takes over', 'Gettin over you' and 'Sexy bitch', Guetta will headline the second edition of Eristoff Invasion 2012 tour. The concert is scheduled to take place from 9-11 March in New Delhi, Pune and Bangalore respectively.

"I'm excited to finally get to play in India. I know my music has been heard and supported for many years, but until now it's been impossible to get there. This will be a very special tour, I'm sure," Guetta said in a press statement.

The tickets for the concert will be available on the official site of Eristoff Invasion. The festival is organized by Only Much Louder in partnership with UKNY Music.
