MUMBAI: On the occasion of nightingale's 82 birth anniversary, Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar will be honored with the first �Hridaynath Lifetime Achivement Award' on wednesday 28 September, at Sri Shanmukhananda Auditorium, Mumbai.

The award will be presented by the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan along with the special guest of honour Yash Chopra. Eminent singers including Suresh Wadkar, Kavitha Krishnamurty, Sudesh Bhosle, Sadhana Sargam, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Sonu Nigam will pay musical tribute to the legend.

The award, initiated by Hridayesh Arts to celebrate 75th anniversary of composer and singer Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar, will honour individuals who have reached the summit of excellence in their chosen field.

Hridayesh Arts was initiated on 53rd birth anniversary of Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar and has achieved success in its endeavours comprising music, literature, education, sports, theatre and social activities.
