The winner will stand a chance to bag prizes worth Rs 18 lakhs with one male and female winner getting the opportunity to win an all expense paid trip to Finland along with their group of friends, and participate in the global competition.

Speaking to Radioandmusic.com on the competition, singer Manasi Scott said, “Karaoke is fun and to make a contest out of it is a wonderful thing to associate with. We had a tough job choosing the finalists as the talent this year is very good. The key quality the winner of the competition should possess is good voice, note and key. Apart from that I think they should also have this entertaining quality in them which will be their x-factor.”

The Karaoke World Championships are conducted annually, drawing participation globally to battle for the world championship title. The member countries conduct local and national karaoke competitions and send winners to participate in the Karaoke World Championships (KWC).
