Jermaine Jackson to jam with Adnan Sami in 'fun album'

MUMBAI: Singers Adnan Sami and Jermaine Jackson, pop icon Michael Jackson's older brother, will soon be seen crooning together in Adnan's forthcoming album to be released by T-Series. "The idea is to boost up the pop music scenario," says T-Series president - marketing media publishing (TV) Vinod Bhanushali.

Jermaine would be arriving in India on 2 October 2009 for this amibitious project.

Confirming the news about Jeramine Jackson's India visit, Bhanushali says, "During his 10 day visit, Jeramine would be jamming with Adnan Sami and then we'll be shooting a video directed by Divya Khosla."

Prior to Michael Jackson's death, media had reported about his possible collaboration with Adnan Sami. However, after his demise, things fell through. Jermaine Jackson would be recording for one song with Adnan Sami during his visit.

"Its going to be a fun album," says Bhanushali.

Meanwhile, a new Michael Jackson song, "This Is It," will be released as a single on October 12, Sony Music Entertainment announced on Wednesday. The song will feature backing vocals by Michael's brothers, The Jacksons. The album will be released on October 26 and in North America on October 27.

This Is It is a two-disc album of music inspired by the upcoming 'This Is It' film, based on Jackson's final days.
