India's premier music event Sunburn on big screen

MUMBAI: Capturing the inimitable experience of one of the Asia’s biggest music festivals, Percept Pictures in association with Viacom 18 has embarked  on one of its kind initiative of producing a movie on Sunburn Dance Music Fest 2011.

‘Sunburn – The Movie’ will be produced and creatively mentored by director Anurag Kashyap of Phantom Films. The  music which has been the main stay of the festival will be further elevated by composer Amit Trivedi. The movie is shot live during the fest which was aired in over 100 countries.

Sunburn Inceptor and Percept Limited Jt. MD Shailendra Singh said, “SUNBURN is a global dance music festival - SUNBURN fans go beyond the ones who have attended the festival. We were live in over 100 countries this year with 1,00,000 attendees. Fans have relished the experience and we thought of enhancing the same through cinema. With like minded partners Viacom 18 and Phantom we want take this to the next level.”

In its fifth year, Sunburn has been ranked amongst the world’s top 10 music festivals. Sunburn has generated cult following amongst fans and the latest edition saw 100,000 fans from 26 countries all over the world.
