Big FM quotes RAM data, claims leadership in Kolkata

MUMBAI: Big FM has staked claim to the numero uno position in Kolkata, which is the latest metropolis to come under the RAM radar.

Quoting Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) findings, Big FM claims an 'overwhelming leadership of time spent listening and listener preference amongst the young affluent adult segment of radio listeners in Kolkata' - read the SEC AB in the 20 to 34 age group.

The first data out of Kolkata from RAM reveals that Big FM gets the highest TARP / Time spent listening in the crucial segment of young affluent adult listeners in the SEC AB, 20 -34 classification for five consecutive weeks, claims the company.

The station has a fairly clear leadership in time spent listening in the five weeks monitored, with its seven competitors lagging behind.

Says Big's Kolkata station head Ramita Chaudhuri, "We are very excited with the numbers. The recently refreshed programming content and Mojar Adda station positioning has helped us stand out in the cluttered environment, delivering entertainment which is best in class and relevant to our listeners in Kolkata and offering a superior communication platform for our advertisers and the marketing community."
