Bangalore to hold biggest EDM Fest

MUMBAI: The city of Bangalore will play host the country’s largest EDM (Electronic Dance Music) festival on 4 August.

The ‘Sound Awake EDM’ festival at Supernova Arena & Convention Centre, organised by DNA Networks will feature 21 DJs including some of the world’s top acts like Taboo, Dirty Vegas, Shapeshifters, Yves Larock and Darude.

The venue will feature four live stage sets- the main ‘DNA Live Stage’ which will have the top international performers, the Ministry of Sound stage which will feature top resident club DJs from around the world, the HedKandi stage for international dance floors music, and Indi stage for domestic DJs.

Tickets for the show will be available in two categories: Golden and Platinum with early bird offer till 22 July.

“Sound Awake is a brand new initiative which will enhance the diverse portfolio of live events. The main festival in Bangalore will be preceded by celebratory pre-gigs with some of our featured DJs on 2 August, in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad,” DNA Entertainment, MD T Venkat Vardhan said.

In addition to the sound and light, audience can experience re-created Goan flea markets, gaming zones, food and  beverages in the food court.

Official Sound Awake merchandise will also be available at the venue organisers said.
