MUMBAI: Celebrating the country’s most vibrant and eclectic acts, Independent Music Awards (IMA) of Australia is back in its seventh edition. The awards, is schedule to take place in October at Revolt in Melbourne.

The awards will be judged by panelists comprising of media artists and independent industry representatives. It will also, for the first time, recognize the efforts of the label companies with a new category ‘Best Australian Independent Label’.

Presented by the Australian Independent Record Labels, the nominees for the seventh edition of IMA will be selected from the material that was released between 1 August 2011 and 31 July 2012.
