Sir Ivan spreads his peace message in India through music

MUMBAI: Sir Ivan seems to have India grooving to his peace song, “Hare Krishna”. Now a global success, “Hare Krishna” has made its connection with the Indian audience. On the album “I Am Peaceman”, Sir Ivan spreads his message of peace through dance remakes of iconic anti-war songs inspired by the 1960’s, such as John Lennon’s Imagine, Bob Dylan’s Blowin’ in the Wind, and Buffalo Springfield’s For What It’s Worth.

His song Peace On Earth encapsulates Sir Ivan’s message of spreading peace and love and combating hate and intolerance.  “As the son of a Holocaust survivor, I was made aware from a very young age of the need to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, the bullied, and the persecuted. Through my music and whatever influence I may have, I want to demonstrate the importance of acceptance and understanding.”  The need for peace is the order of the day and Sir Ivan’s effort to do this through his music is commendable. By using “Hare Krishna”, his message is loud and clear. – Ratnakar Kumar – Managing Director, Worldwide Records. Hare Krishna went to # 10 on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Club Songs Chart in the U.S. in April 2011.  Sir Ivan will be touring in India soon. WATCH OUT FOR THE PEACEMAN!
