Sony India expands Xperia series with 'tipo'

MUMBAI: Extending the Xperia series Sony India has unveiled its latest smartphone 'tipo' in the Indian market.

The 'Xperia tipo' is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich OS, 32GB expandable storage along with free 50GB cloud offer from Box. The device is embedded with 3.2 inch scratch-resistant mineral glass display, 3.2MP camera, 1500 mAH battery, bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The smartphone is pre-loaded with apps like Bollywood Hungama, Dainik Jagran, Cricbuzz, xLOUD, TrackID, dedicated set-up guide and data management solution to identify data usage. Xperia tipo is priced at Rs 9,999; the device is also available in dual-Sim version which is priced at Rs 10,449.

The two new devices will be available to Vodafone subscribers with an exclusive offer of 500 GB per month for three months till 31st December 2012.
