BIG FM continues its Mumbai dominance for three straight weeks

MUMBAI: BIG FM regained the shares by 0.3 per cent and finished Week 05 with 18.3 per cent shares and T.S.L of 6. The rise in the shares helped BIG FM retain the top position at the charts in the city of Mumbai for the third consecutive week. BIG FM continues to lead Radio City as the best performer and continued the dominance through the Week 05. Radio City finished the week with shares of 17.6 per cent and the T.S.L of 5.31. Fever FM regained the third position with shares dropping to 14 per cent and T.S.L of 6.5 (highest in the city). Radio Mirchi (13.5 per cent shares) and Red FM (10.2 per cent) followed Fever FM at the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

In Delhi, Fever FM topped the chart as the shares rose from 19.5 per cent to 20 per cent. T.S.L for Fever FM increased from 4.48 to 4.55 and the resulting figures helped them comfortably retain the top position. Radio Mirchi retained the second position with improved shares from 13.9 per cent to 14.1 per cent and T.S.L of 3.25. Radio City finished the week at the third position with 11.9 per cent of shares. Red FM with 11.1 per cent shares and T.S.L. of 3.05 retain the fourth position. Big FM (shares- 10.9 per cent), Oye! FM (shares- 6 per cent), and Hit FM (shares- 3.9 per cent) finish at the fifth, sixth and seventh positions respectively.

In the city of Kolkata, Radio Mirchi continues to dominate with growth in shares (18.9 per cent to 19.5 per cent) and T.S.L of 4.36. After an impressive Week 04, BIG FM's shares fell from 16.1 per cent to 15.3 per cent, however, it did not stop BIG FM from retaining the second position. Fever FM, at the third position, returned to its Week 03 shares (from 15.7 per cent to 14.7 per cent) and T.S.L dropped from 5.38 to 5.35. The rest of the positions remains unchanged with Oye! FM (9.9 per cent shares) and Aamar FM (9.4 per cent shares) finishing the week at fourth and fifth positions. Red FM (8.8 per cent) at seventh, Friends FM (4.5 per cent) at eighth and Power FM (2.6 per cent) at ninth positions makes for the week 03 charts in Kolkata.

Maintaining the stat of the radio station with the highest T.S.L (9.55) in the country, Radio City Bengaluru finished the third week with 23.4 per cent shares. Big FM retained the second position in Bengaluru with the shares of 20.4 per cent and T.S.L of 8.07. Radio Mirchi (shares - 15.9 per cent), Fever FM (14 per cent), and Red FM (4.6 per cent) finished the week at third, fourth and fifth positions respectively. Radio Indigo recorded the lowest per cent of shares in the city (2.2) and T.S.L of 2.59.
