Next edition of 'Suron Ke Rang Colors Ke Sang' will take place in November

MUMBAI: The musical Intellectual Property (IP)-‘Suron Ke Ran Colors Ke Sang’ that will commence with a tribute to the founder of the music label T- Series- Gulshan Kumar, will become a platform for upcoming musicians.

With this IP, the channel will venture into the live music scene. It took two and a half years for the channel to come up with the entire event, revealed Colors, CEO, Raj Nayak.“For a long time, we were contemplating on venturing into the music scene. We have many talent shows and we were adamant on not adding yet another talent show. This is when T-Series approached us that they were planning to pay a tribute to Gulshan Kumarji and we agreed to do a show with all the singers in the industry,” added Nayak. The first edition of the IP will take place on 22 September 2015.

The channel is planning to come up with another program in the month of November 2015, with a different set of artists but with a similar grandeur. “The event might not be an award function which might get the highest of TRPs but it will pick-up because of music. Music has an immense power and this will make the IP very successful,” he further added.
