MUMBAI: U.K boy band One Direction has announced they will be releasing two new books this year. According to reports, the 'Story Of My Life' singers have penned a deal with HarperCollins, a publishing company, through which they will release their official autobiography and another book titled 'One Direction: The Official Annual 2015 this year.'

In August this year, the boys will release 'One Direction: The Official Annual 2015', which will include behind the scenes stories, photos and interviews. Meanwhile, the band's joint, complete autobiography is set for a September release and will map the boys' rise to fame, right from their X Factor days.

Talking about the two books, HarperCollins said that the books will highlight the boys' hopes, ambitions and feelings over the last few years. HarperCollins publishing director Natlie Jerome said, “The boys are an absolute pleasure to work with and always strive to deliver more to their fans.” She added, "It's a hugely exciting departure from the books we've published with them so far and there's a lot we're going to be doing that will make this an extra special experience for their loyal and devoted fans."

One Direction has so far released four books through the same publication company. These include 'One Direction: Forever Young' (2011); 'One Direction: The Official Annual 2012' (2011); 'Dare to Dream: Life as One Direction' (2011) and 'One Direction: Where We Are: Our Band, Our Story' (2013). Since the release of the first book, the band has sold three million copies in all formats worldwide.
