Radio City spreads 'Love' and 'Happiness' this festive season

MUMBAI: It was a indeed a Happy Diwali for listeners of India's leading radio station, Radio City, as they  organised 'Blue Carpet' screenings of not one but 2 movies.  Living up to its promise of screening the best movies for its listeners on the first weekend of the movie release, Radio City held exclusive screening of 'Pyaar Vali Love Story' and the King Khan & Deepika Padukone starrer, 'Happy New Year' on Saturday and Sunday, the 25th and 26th of October 2014 with more than 6000 listeners attending the screenings!

With Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead role, supported by Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani, directed by Farah Khan, listeners couldn't be happier to attend the Blue Carpet screening for 'Happy New Year'. The screening was held for listeners in Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Jaipur and Nagpur. With more than 5000 tickets being distributed across 13 theatres in the 8 cities, the campaign garnered a tremendous response from the listeners.

'City'zens of Pune, Ahmednagar, Sangli and Jalgaon were given the 'Blue Carpet' screening of the biggest Marathi release of the year-'Pyaar Vali Love Story'. It was a double whammy for the people of Pune, as the star cast of the movie- Swapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar, Urmila Kanetkar, Sameer Dharmadhikar, Upendra Limaye, joined them in the Blue Carpet screening. Over 900 listeners attended and thoroughly enjoyed the screening.

The Radio City 'Blue Carpet' gives a chance to the listeners to enjoy movie screenings in the best possible manner. It is a great initiative where Radio City builds a stronger bond with its listeners across the nation. Tickets for the 'Blue Carpet' can be won through simple contests on Radio City.
