MUMBAI: Having rendered her melodious voice for movies like Tashan, Ghatotkach, Pranali and One Two Three this year, Mahalakshmi Iyer gears up to make her presence felt in Bollywood in the second half of the year. Some of the projects lined up this year are Sanjay Chhels Man Gaye Mughal-e-azam, Apoorva Lakhias Mission Istanbul, Don Muthu Swami, Zoya Akhtars Luck By Chance and many untitled projects.

The singer admits that reality show Mission Ustaad has helped her in reaching out to people. As she says, One of the main reasons of being a part of this show was that the audiences didn't know me and this was a platform to get acquainted with them.After being a contestant, the singer now wishes to be on the other side and judge a reality show. I would like to be a judge in reality show which is promising and not like yet another reality show which is flooding the TV space with oodles of drama!

Mahalakshmi Iyer is also working on her album and would like to write and compose for it herself.
