MUMBAI: Marathi music composer duo famous for composing hits like 'Sanngto Aika' and 'Guru Pournima' are back with a haunting score for the upcoming Marathi thriller '7, Roshan Villa'.

For the suspense saga, Avinash-Vishwajeet has incorporated large scale orchestral sequences to emphasise on the eerie setting of the film. Vishawajeet Joshi stated that an excellent background score for a thriller film is of great importance. On the composition of the score for '7, Roshan Villa', Joshi said, "The film revolves around six characters and the music is the seventh character, which is why I believe that the name of the film is '7, Roshan Villa.'" Joshi further added that the score would feature "haunting backing vocals reminiscent of soprano singing along symphonic and textural differences in the sound of the film."

The film, along with a strong orchestral score also features two songs featuring vocals by Bela Shinde and Shreya Ghoshal. The first song is called 'Ratra Kaali' sung by National Award winner Bela Shende. Joshi said "The song has a very different sound to it, with major jazz influences evident in its varied harmonic arrangement." He was also very impressed with Shende's ability to showcase a wide range in her voice modulation. The second track is called 'Halke Halke' with vocals by multiple National Awards winner Shreya Ghoshal. Of Ghoshal's singing, Joshi said, "Ghoshal's ability to sing in a very high range without sounding crass is the unique aspect of her singing."
