SonicJam Launches an Online Digital Karaoke Machine

MUMBAI: SonicJam Inc. announced today the public beta launch of www.sonicjam.com - a online social music game platform. Users can practice signing with their favorite artists and obtain real time feedback using the online service. SonicJam utilizes proprietary sound separation algorithms that allow the user to get real time feedback on pitch, rhythm, and timbre. This enormously powerful platform allows users to replay their performances and see where they can improve. The system also allows users to record their performances with a web cam and share using today's popular social media platforms.

Karaoke has grown in popularity worldwide as popular television shows have added to the fun. Many amateur performers wait in line for hours hoping to be one of the selected few chosen to perform live on television and a chance to add their name to the growing list of singing discoveries. Millions of amateur musicians visit various online sites to record and share their saved performances.

This powerful platform gives users the ability to play with their favorite music using headphones or with their PC connected speakers. Users can turn up the volume as loud as they like because we use a powerful sound removal technology that guarantees only the users voice gets compared to the voice of the original artist. We have even built in a feature to automatically adjust for users who sing in a different octave than the original artist.

"There is no other platform in the world that streams in original artist music video content, provides lyrics, and displays a real time sound meter for visual comparative feedback," says SonicJam Inc. CEO Edward Brennan. "In addition, we allow users to post their recorded performances on popular social media websites. These performances contain the score achieved, so they become searchable. This is really a dramatic advancement in the artist discovery process. Now the music labels can find quality performers quickly from their desktops." Getting 'discovered' just got a whole lot easier.
