Radio One and ArtistAloud help a community of cancer patients through the power of music

MUMBAI: 94.3 Radio One, the station with the �Maximum Music, Maximum Choice' is all set to take to the next level its position of being a music station. With the belief that music is the tool to real happiness and a medium to help people, Radio One in association with ArtistAloud, recently adopted a community of cancer patients. With this the station attempted to help the aged and children at Wadia Hospital and Tata Hospital to triumph over their conditions through the magical touch of Music. This activity is an extension to the Rose day association with Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA).

As part of the activity, 94.3 Radio One and ArtistsAloud.com organized sing along with Music Artists like Uvie, Avanti Patel and the musical sensation Sharad Jagtiani. The trio visited hospitals for the treatment of cancer patients like The Tata Hospital and Wadia Hospital and the activity was hosted by Radio One's MJ, Gya.

The response at both the centre's was phenomenon with a lot of participation from patients, kids and adults. The patients were seen cheering for the artists, requesting for songs, taking part in the singing and volunteering to dance. The doctors too joined in the merriment.

It was also an amazing experience for the artists as they were seen enjoying the day with the cancer patients. Said Sharad Jagtiani, I was very happy to be part of such a noble cause. The  response I got from the patients was phenomenal and I would love to be part of an activity like this in the future as well....

94.3 Radio One, through this activity has taken a step ahead into the world of social causes with the help of music. The station is attempting at bringing about happiness using the medium of music and giving these patients one day when they would they could just forget their sorrows.
