MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi – the sakkath hot radio station of Bengaluru celebrated the World Music Day... in a rather cosmopolitan fashion by calling in expatriate students (studying in the various city colleges) to perform live at the Mirchi Studios on June 21, 2009. The live performance cum music classes took place on the MBA with Raaj show which specially was aired in the morning between 8 am to 2 pm on Sunday.

With International music becoming a craze among young Bangaloreans, MBA with Raaj received a great response as the expat students taught Bengaluru the best of English, Thai, Arabian, French, German, Nepalese music etc. Bengaluru also got to hear a new version of Kannada music, as RJ Raaj (an ardent emissary of Kannada music) was successful in passing on a hint Kannada music to the students who sang the desi song with an international touch.
