Radio Mantra celebrates Children's Day with 'Chhota Jockey 3'

MUMBAI: Radio Mantra lived up to its promise to make the Children's day special with  'Chhota Jockey', where children got an opportunity to be a Radio Jockey. It was an exhilarating experience for the children and the event too was a huge success across  Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand.

The registrations for 'Chhota Jockey' started on 8th of November and saw a huge response  from children . The registrations were open  via IVRS and SMS's. Many chose to drop in their recorded CDs at  Mantra's office(s). Mantra Radio Jockeys  hunted the famous malls and parks too for children  gifted with the voice and the attitude to be ON -AIR.

There were two winners in each station & all of them got an opportunity to co-host  the evening show 'Route No. 919', The bytes were aired throughout the day across all stations.

Unable to hide his excitement, one of the 'Chhota Jockey' winners Piyush said, I am feeling very happy and special on being selected. Sitting in the Mantra studio and recording a live show with my favorite RJ, is like a dream come true! This is the most amazing day of my life . I cannot wait to share this wonderful  moment with my friends....

Speaking on the occasion, Kanwar Sameer, National Programming Head, Radio Mantra said, We ensured that the spotlight stayed on the children all day long by giving them opportunity to be ON AIR  & co hosting the evening show with our Radio Jockey's and even giving out gifts to them  Aimed to involve, interact and participate, the fun activities were designed to ensure that children have an enjoyable time while competing with each other.
