Radio City partners with Prithvi Theatre Festival, celebrating 31 years of theatre

MUMBAI: Radio City, India's first and leading FM radio network has partnered with India's most prestigious �The Prithvi Theatre Festival', subsidiary of the Shri Prithviraj Kapoor. The fifteen days theatre extravaganza between November 7 and November 20 will celebrate the glorious 31st season with the theme –Theatres of India. Featuring a diverse mix of theatre groups that have contributed to the theatre world for decades, as well as new young productions creating their own style.

The festival opened with the signature play of Habib Tanvir's Naya Theatre telling the story of Charandas, a lovable chor (thief) who takes 4 vows in jest. There is an excellent line up of plays at Prithvi Festival this year. Plays like Theatre Roots  Wings 'Sahyande Makan – THE Elephant Project, Amitesh Grover's-, Nirman Kala Manch's- Neelkanth Nirala , Adishakti's- The Hare and the tortoise etc are for sure to mesmerise the audience.

The festival showcasing its featuring class across country will showcase the plays in Hindi, Malayam, English, Kannada, Bhojpuri and Chattisgarh.
