Noel Keymer launches book on RJ'ing

MUMBAI: Noel Keymer launched India's first composite book on RJ'ing, "Everything You Wanted To Know About Radio Jockeying... But Didnt Know Whom to Ask" on the 13th of December at Crossword, Bandra, Chief guests at the event were Jeeturaaj, Mirchi 98.3 FM and Fr. Myron Pereira, Director, XIC, and Mr. Vikram Hira of Magna Publishing.

The book is also on the XIC syllabus for the post graduate Advertising/Marketing, Journalism and Public Relations XIC Students.

The book primarily focuses on the qualities required to train as an RJ, the art of scripting, ideas to crack the RJing auditions, voice modulations, command on languages etc. Referring to the target audience, Keymer says, The book is basically meant for the small towns where there are no RJ training institutes and youngsters need to know about the profession. Also, RJ courses are often costly and before spending money for such courses, the youngsters can find out if they are qualified to be an RJ by reading and knowing about the profession....
