Big FM Agra to broadcast Aarti from Vrindavan & Mathura this Janmashtami

MUMBAI: BIG 92.7 FM, India's No.1 FM Network, in keeping with the festive spirit of Janmashtami, has, as part of its programming content broadcast of Aarti, directly from the birth place of Lord Krishna. BIG FM's RJs will be present at Banke Bihari Mandir, Isckon Temple, Dwarikadish Mandir in Mathura and Vrindavan and will capture the celebrations from the venue, broadcasting it for listeners and devotees who cannot physically be there. Devotees of Lord Krishna need to simply tune in to BIG 92.7 FM from 13 to 14 August 09 to hear the Aarti along with catching up on all the action from the venue.

As a prelude to the big day, the RJ's will visit the temples and also share updates and interesting trivia on the preparations and behind the scene action that can be expected from the venue. BIG FM's Agra Station along with the coverage from the temples and the streets of Mathura and Vrindavan will share interesting facts about �Krishna Janmbhoomi'. In addition, the jocks will share all tid-bits from Mathura's famous marketplace and �Jhaanki' centers.

On 14 August – Janmashtami, BIG FM will broadcast celebrations from Mathura starting from 7 pm till 12.30 am and will bring the celebrations to listeners home, giving them a true â€?Life Banao' time.  Besides capturing the celebrations from the temple, RJs will also cover the performance by famous â€?Bhajan Mandali' and interview Chief Priests and Mahagurus who will be the part of this religious festival.

While RJ Neha will be present on ground and accelerating the pace of the festive mood, RJ Aklaq will be present in studio entertaining the listeners with some fun contests. Contest based on Krishna's Life will be played for the entire week, giving a chance for the listeners to win loads of goodies. Besides this, the best Janmashtmi recipes and best mother- child byte termed as �Yashoda-Krishna' will also be aired.
