MUMBAI: September 20th is observed as “International Coastal Cleanup Day” and BIG 92.7 FM Chennai, keeping up its promise of celebrating “Tamilian’s Pride” got its RJ BIG Dheena and listeners to participate in a beach clean up activity organized by Indian Coast Guard in association with various organizations and NGOs and Colleges in Chennai.

RJ BIG Dheena who has recently set a new Guinness Record for hosting on-air show for 168 hours continuously, took active part in the Beach Clean up campaign by doing live on-air show from the venue to spread the message of keeping the beach clean to all the BIG 92.7 FM listeners across Chennai. RJ BIG Dheena also formed his own group of people and motivated them to collect trash and dispose it properly.

Speaking about the initiative Mr. P.B Ramaswamy, Cluster Director BIG 92.7 FM TamilNadu said “It’s a wonderful initiative where lots of organizations have come forward for one single cause of keeping the beach clean and BIG 92.7 FM is really proud to be associated with this initiative by spreading the message across to its listeners in Chennai.”
