Big 92.7 FM Mumbai's 'Kuch Khata, Kuch Meetha' this Gudi Padwa

MUMBAI: Keeping up to it's music positioning of Jaisa Mood, Waisaich music, Big 92.7 FM, Mumbai's favourite radio station is hosting Kuch khata, kuch Meetha' cheering up the mood of Mumbai this new year. Wishing the entire city a great festival filled with sweetness and abundance both on air and on ground as well.

Livening up the mood of Mumbai, Big FM RJs spoke to the city about the different issues faced by them on a day to day basis such as crowded local trains, long and exhausting work hours, less or no space for living, pollution and traffic jams and so on. The entire peg was to help Mumbai forget their daily woes by adding elements of sweetness in their lives through interesting on air content. The biggest gratification this Gudi Padwa festival was giving out Mangoes to listeners, the much coveted and sort after fruit-an expensive commodity this season through on air contests. It received great response from listeners wanting to enjoy the Khata meetha fruit this festival.

Throughout the week, Big FM RJs went all over the city celebrating the celebratory mood with lots of games and goodies whilst interviewing people from communities like Mumbai suburban Rickshaw drivers, the local traffic police, the very famous Bhajan Mandlis in local trains, the friendly vegetable vendors and also visiting the famous Puranpoli stalls brining in the local festival flavour on air. In keeping with the station peg, an Imli eating competition in Mumbai's very own local trains was held by RJ Archana which received great enthusiastic participation from the commuters. A similar fun filled competition was held in one of Dadar's famous housing society where RJ Archana Jani interacted with the members spreading lots of Meethas and Josh in their lives through her contests and games.

Wishing the entire city a great & successful new year, Neerja Dhillon, Station Director, Big 92.7 FM-Mumbai said, The local city festivals are a great way of reaching out to the local populace through interesting on air and on ground activities. Creating great content around local city specific and relevant festivals helps us in reaching out to our listeners with a focused and purposeful approach, which ensures loyalty and creates advocacy for the station. Keeping up with the station positioning of Jaisa Mood, Waisaich Music, Big 92.7 FM Mumbai wishes everyone a Josh filled Gudi Padwa and a great year ahead....
