Big 92.7 FM Hyderabad partners Sitara Film Awards

MUMBAI: Taking its Music and Tollywood association to the next level, BIG 92.7 FM, Hyderabad's No.1 FM station has partnered with â€?Sitara Film Awards' hosted by Sitara TV an Asianet Television network GEC  The first Sitara Film Awards will be held on 25 January at HICC Novotel, Hyderabad. The Awards Ceremony will honor film artists who excelled in the year 2008 across 14 categories and 3 special categories (namely 'NTR' award for lifetime achievement, 'LV Prasad' award for contribution to cinema and the 'Shoban Babu' award for contribution to cinema.) Recognizing great music in Tollywood cinema, BIG FM will award â€?Song of the year' category exclusively nominated by its listeners.

The voting procedure has begun on-air across the stations of Hyderabad, Vizag and Tirupathi inviting listeners to select the best of best in Tollywood cinema. The voting is widely promoted through an attractive programming mix and music led content. 100 lucky listeners will get a chance to witness the star-studded night on Jan 25. The long weekend will get happier for the listeners while BIG FM captures the vibe and excitement LIVE from the venue taking renowned film personalities on-air. Listeners will interact with the celebrities LIVE sitting at their homes and thus experience the grand event as it unfolds. Actresses Shobana, Genelia, Isha Shervani, Meenakshi Dixit, Kamna Jetmalani, Meghna Naidu, Sindhu Menon are scheduled to perform on the Awards night.
